How does the Habit Strength score work? Unlike traditional trackers where a single missed day resets your score to zero, Loop uses an exponential formula. Every completed habit strengthens your score, while missed days gently decrease it, encouraging long-term discipline.
Are my habits stored on a remote server? No. All your habits, streaks, and check-in logs are stored strictly on your local device.
How do I backup or export my data? Go to Settings > Export Data inside the app. You can export everything to standard CSV or JSON files anytime.
How do I set habit reminders? When creating or editing a habit, toggle on "Reminder" and pick your desired daily alert time.

Loop Habits does not collect, track, transmit, or sell any personal data, usage analytics, location data, or identifiers. We have no third-party tracking SDKs, analytics services, or advertising frameworks installed.

2. Local On-Device Storage

All data you create (including habit names, target frequencies, numerical logs, and completion history) is stored exclusively within your device's sandboxed local storage.

3. Device Permissions

Notifications: Used strictly to deliver local, on-device habit reminders scheduled by you. No notification data is sent across the internet.

4. GDPR & User Data Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and global privacy standards:

Right to Access & Portability: You can export all your habit history anytime via CSV/JSON export.
Right to Rectification: You have full control to edit or update any past habit record.
Right to Erasure: You can permanently delete individual habits or reset all application data with one tap in Settings.
